At Cornell
2007-08: In his second season with Cornell, Moore notched an 11-10 overall record. He opened the year with a fifth place finish at the Brute Binghamton Open, going 4-2. Moore also wrestled for Cornell at the Body Bar Invitational, Nittany Lion Open and Reno Tournament of Champions at 197 pounds.

2006-07: As a rookie, he wrestled at both 184 and 197 pounds, seeing action at the Body Bar Invitational and Southern Scuffle. Moore also saw action in one dual match, grabbing three points for Cornell in a bout against Princeton. He was not in school during the 2006-07 academic year.

Prior to Cornell
A four-time letter winner at Oak Grove HS, Moore captured the Missouri state championship. He was the 2003 USA Wrestling national champion and was the runner-up in 2005. He was also a two-time Cadet national champion. Moore was also a linebacker on Oak Grove's football team, earning two letters.

Personal
Taylor Russell Moore is the son of David and Maria Moore. His twin brother, Michael, is also on the Big Red wrestling team. He also has an older sister. He is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
