Biography

At Cornell 
2009-10: Manson went 26-15, including 9-5 in dual meets, and posted eight bonus wins as the team’s starter at 149 pounds. A first-team All-Ivy honoree, Manson placed third at the New York State championships, sixth at the Brute Binghamton Open and eighth at the EIWA tournament. 

2007-08: Did not compete. 

2006-07: Manson opened his collegiate career by placing fifth at the UB Open at 141 pounds, and wrestled for the Big Red at the Body Bar Invitational, Las Vegas Invitational, Southern Scuffle, National Duals and EIWA Tournament. He compiled a 6-4 dual record, while posting a 2-2 mark against Ancient Eight opponents. 

Prior to Cornell
Manson, a four-time letter winner, was a state finalist each year. With a career record of 188-6, he was the Tennessee state champion two times. At the Baylor School, Manson was a two-year team captain. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and on the Honors’ Council for three years. 

Personal
Corey Manson is the son of Tim and Virginia Ann Manson. He has a younger sister and an older brother. He is a student in the College of Arts and Sciences.
