Junior (2009):
An ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District I first-team selection, Intihar was voted as the Ivy League Player of the Year after batting .394 with 14 doubles, two triples, two home runs and matched a school record with 51 runs scored while starting all 55 games for the Big Red. She earned a spot on the NFCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region team. Intihar’s batting average was third in the Ivy League, while her 67 hits ranked second in the circuit. Intihar also ranked first in the Ancient Eight in runs scored (51) and ranked among the leaders in stolen bases (second, 12) and doubles (third, 14). The unanimous first-team selection posted a .472 on-base percentage and was hit by a pitch a school-record 18 times. Intihar stole a team-high 12 bases in 13 attempts. She strung together 20 games with multiple hits and four starts with three hits. Intihar was 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI at Bethune-Cookman and was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and three RBI at Columbia. She was 6-for-10 with three runs scored in the Ivy League championship series vs. Dartmouth and had hits in both of Cornell’s NCAA tournament matchups. Intihar hit .532 with five doubles and two homers in 15 home games, posting a .569 on-base percentage and a n .851 slugging percentage.

Sophomore (2008): The only Big Red player to start all 50 games, Intihar added to her already impressive resume by being named to the All-Ivy second team at shortstop and ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District I second team. She led the Ivy League in both hits, with 68, and doubles, with 17, which set a new Cornell single season record. Intihar was first on the team in runs (47), third on the team in both total bases (98) and stolen bases (9), and fourth in batting average (.393). She recorded 19 multi-hit games and from March 19 to April 5 had an 11 game hit streak. Intihar had back-to-back games with a homer against Norfolk State and Bowling Green, and on April 20 against Columbia, she went three-for-three with three runs and two RBI in the 16-1 victory. Defensively, Intihar led the team with 100 assists from the shortstop position, and on March 18, recorded a season-high 14 putouts against Rider.

Freshman (2007): As a freshman, Intihar earned a long line of accolades at the end of the season including being named to the ECAC all-star team as a utility player. She also was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic All-Region first-team, and was first-team All-Ivy. Intihar shared team MVP honors with teammate Jenna Campagnolo. The rookie received season honors after starting in all but one game for the Big Red. Intihar proved her adaptability during her freshman season starting 15 games at first, 25 at second, and one at third base along with seven games as shortstop. Batting third for the Big Red, Intihar opened her collegiate career with a .351 batting average. The freshman led the team, and was second in the Ivy, with 11 home runs. Intihar hit a walk-off grand slam to lead Cornell to a 10-9 win over Wagner on March 19. She led the team with a .656 slugging percentage which was good for third among the Ancient Eight. Second in total bases with 99, Intihar batted .454 against league opponents putting her in second in the Ivy. Leading the team with 41 total RBI, she notched four RBI in three games during the season. The two-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week, was also named Ivy Player of the Week on April 24 after leading the Big Red with a .550 for the week. Intihar helped Cornell win three games over Columbia that weekend driving in the game-winning run with a triple in game one, and launched the game-tying single in game two allowing the Big Red to then pull ahead for the win. Intihar secured the Big Red’s win over the Lions on Sunday with a home run deep over the centerfield fence.
 
At Seneca Valley High School
Intihar was a four-year letter winner and served as captain of her softball team her senior year. A two-year top scholar athlete, she was also a three-time member of the all-section team. Intihar was a member of the National Honor Society and was a four-year recipient of the Presidential Award and Seneca Scholastic Award. She was a member of the Varsity and Key Clubs and competed in a triathlon.

Personal
Alyson Elizabeth Intihar is the daughter of Larry and Jackie Intihar and has two older brothers. Her brother, Alex, played golf at Grove City College. Majoring in applied economics and management, Intihar is a student in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
