At Cornell
Sophomore (2010): Walisiak played in 20 contests, including nine as a starter in the outfield in 2010. She hit .185, scoring six runs while collecting five hits. She was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base against Bethune-Cookman.

Freshman (2009): Walisiak had a strong rookie campaign, batting .321 with nine runs scored, three doubles and seven RBI in 33 games, including 23 starts. She emerged late in the season, starting 11 Ivy League contests and both NCAA tournament games. She batted .370 in Ivy League play, including a 2-for-2 effort with a walk in game one against Penn on April 12. Walisiak paced the team with her seven sacrifice bunts and was perfect in 25 fielding chances in the outfield, one of just two players with a perfect fielding percentage with that many chances. 

Prior to Cornell
Walisiak was an Adidas Top 100 softball recruit and qualified for “A” national in 2007 and 2008. She earned two letters at Lockport Township HS, and helped her team to conference and sectional titles her senior year. Walisiak also served as captain for the Orland Park Sparks 18U team. A member of the National Honor Society, she was named to the SWSC all-academic team. Walisiak was also an Illinois and AP Scholar.

Personal
Cassie Walisiak is the daughter of Kirk Walisiak and Terry and Nancy Arndt, and has two younger sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
