At Cornell
Heidt had a breakthrough sophomore year in both cross country and track and continued to be a reliable performer and one of the Big Red's top milers as a junior. A Heps competitor in cross country, she has improved dramatically on the track, scoring at the Outdoor Heptagonal Championships and the Outdoor ECACs, earning her all-East accolades, and qualifying for the NCAA East Regional Championships in the 1500m. She was also an Indoor Heps finalist in the mile and an ECAC qualifier in 2009. In 2007, she earned all-East status indoors and outdoors on the 4x800m relay and ran a leg on the freshman record-setting 4x800m at the outdoor ECACs, where the squad finished sixth.
At Suffern HS
Heidt was a key member of the national championship 4x800 and distance medley relay squads at Suffern HS.
Personal
Caroline Heidt is the daughter of Hal and Penny Heidt. She has a twin brother and an older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
