Grew was a member of New England swimming team champions from 2003-06 at Phillips Exeter Academy. He competed for four seasons and lettered three times in swimming, while also playing soccer for four seasons and lettering twice.
Personal
Daniel Edward Grew is the son of Nathaniel and Rosamond Grew and has two older brothers and three older sister, a total of four of whom attended Cornell. His father was also a 1960 Cornell graduate. Grew is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
