Glantz completed her Cornell career with another excellent season, taking fourth in the 800 at the Indoor Heptagonal Championships and helping the 4x800 relay team take second in that event. Serving as a team co-captain, Glantz was also eighth in the 400 and seventh in the 500 at the Indoor ECACs, and she anchored Cornell's winning 4x800 team at the same meet. At the Penn Relays, she finished in the top 10 at the championship 400 hurdles, and she ran a 55.3-second split in the third-place 4x400 race. At the Outdoor Heptagonal Championships, Glantz won the Ivy League title in the 400 with a time of 59.08 seconds, and she helped the 4x800 team take third. She again did well at the Outdoor ECACs, taking fourth in the 400-meter dash. Thanks to her terrific efforts all year, she made it to the NCAA East Regionals in Jacksonville, Fla. Advancing past the quarterfinals, Glantz came in 13th in the semifinals of the 400 hurdles, missing the NCAA Championships qualification by one place but ending her Big Red career with a personal-record of 58.90 seconds that is the second-best time ever at Cornell. She helped break the school record during the indoor season as part of a 4x800 relay team that finished in 8:45.20. She also moved up to fifth all-time in school history with an indoor 800 time of 2:07.30.
As a Junior (2010-11)
Glantz continued improving as she set personal records in the 400, 500, 600, and 800-meter races indoor and 400m hurdles outdoors. At the Indoor Heps, Glantz placed third in the 800m and also ran on the second-place 4x400 team with a split of 55.90. The next weekend at the Indoor ECAC Championships, Glantz ran the 800m leg on the distance medley relay, which placed first. She followed up with a third-place finish in the 500m. Outdoors, Glantz consistently ran the 400m hurdles under 60.00 seconds and set a personal best of 58.96, placing her No. 2 on the Cornell top-10 list. Glantz placed second in the 400m hurdles at Outdoor Heps and anchored the 4x400m. At the Outdoor ECAC Championships Glantz placed fifth in the 400m hurdles and anchored the 4x400m with a split of 54.60. Glantz also advanced to the preliminary round of the NCAA Championships in Bloomington, Ind.
As a Sophomore (2009-10)
Sophomore year Glantz made strides in the open 800m setting an open personal record of 2:11.63 and placing fifth in the 800 at the Indoor Heps and running on the second-place 4x800 team. At Outdoor Heps that spring, Glantz helped lead the team to a first-place finish by placing fifth in the 400m hurdles and running on the 4x800 which placed fifth as well. She finally dipped under the 60.00 mark for 400m hurdles when she ran a personal best of 59.80 at the Outdoor ECAC championships, advancing her to the preliminary round of the NCAA Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
As a Freshman (2008-09)
As a co-captain for 2011-2012, Glantz is among the Big Red's most versatile athletes, focusing on the 400m through 800m primarily indoors and the 400m hurdles outdoors. During her freshman indoor season, she contributed to the team's relay efforts, helping the 4x800m team record a fifth-place finish at the Indoor Heptagonals. She also recorded a win at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge at Penn State, setting the freshman school record for 600m at 1:34.10. Outdoors, she finished sixth in the 400m hurdles at the Outdoor Heptagonals. She was an ECAC qualifier and was among the team's most valuable performers in her first season.
Before Cornell
Glantz led Barrington to the Illinois State Track and Field title during her senior season. She scored in four events (4x400m, 4x800m, 300m hurdles and 100m hurdles), winning two state event championships.
Personal
Molly Elizabeth Glantz is the daughter of David and Ginger Glantz and has an older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
