At Cornell
A three-time All-Ivy pick, Campbell was named to the first team as a return specialist and second team as a defensive back in 2011 and an honorable mention pick at corner in 2009. As a senior, Campbell set an Ivy League record for kick return yards in a season (994) and became the first Cornellian to score on two kickoff returns in a season, the only Ivy player with multiple returns for a score. He ranked second in the Ancient Eight in kick return average among those with at least 20 returns and earned Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week once. His 1,921 career kickoff return yards ranks third all-time in the Ivy League. His second-team nod as a defensive back was also well-earned after leading the Ivy League and ranking 20th nationally with his four interceptions. He was second on the team in tackles (78), good for ninth in the Ivy League. Campbell added 6.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He had 14 tackles against Dartmouth and recorded two interceptions, a pass breakup and a tackle for loss against Penn. Campbell was second among defensive backs in the Ivy League in tackles for loss (6.5) and served as a defensive captain. He ranked fourth on the team in tackles (58) and posted six pass breakups and an interception after starting all 10 games as a junior in 2010. Campbell posted 11 tackles, including nine solo stops, at Columbia and intercepted a pass against Ivy League champion Penn. He also made seven stops against both Harvard and Brown. Campbell had three tackles for a loss, including one to go along with six tackles and a pair of pass breakups in the win at Bucknell. Campbell earned honorable mention All-Ivy honors in 2009, recording 42 tackles, 10 pass breakups, an interception, a fumble recovery and 2.0 tackles for loss while starting all 10 games at corner. He finished the season fourth in the Ivy League with 11 passes defended and had a pass breakup in nine of the team's 10 games. Campbell had a tackle for loss and an interception vs. Fordham. He also had strong games against Yale (nine tackles) and Colgate (eight tackles), while breaking up a pair of pass against Princeton. As a freshman, Campbell quickly impressed the coaching staff and broke into the lineup in the seventh game of the season, eventually working his way into the starting spot against Penn in the season finale. Campbell did not disappoint, recording nine tackles and an interception in his four games. His best performance came in the Big Red’s win over Dartmouth when he recorded four tackles and recorded his first career interception in the win. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
At Chestnut Hill
The 2007 Philadelphia Daily News Player of the Year, Campbell was an all-state pick as a senior captain at Chestnut Hill Academy. Campbell posted 4,204 yards rushing and 65 touchdowns in his four-year career, including 3,200 yards and 45 scores in his final two seasons. Campbell rushed for 1,452 yards and 23 touchdowns (7.8 ypc.) in leading his team to a 9-1 record and a league runner-up finish as a senior. He also scored four times as a receiver and starred at cornerback, picking off a pair of passes. He was voted first-team all-league and all-city, second team all-region and received a Mini-Maxwell Award as one of the top 50 high school players in Southern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey as both a junior and senior. Campbell was a finalist for the Robert W. Maxwell Football Club’s Jim Henry Award, recognizing the area’s top student-athlete football player. As a junior, Campbell carried 255 times for 1,748 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also caught nine passes for 80 yards and threw a touchdown pass. At defensive back, Campbell added 30 tackles and two interceptions from his cornerback position. Campbell was named second-team all-city following his junior year. Along with more than 5,500 all-purpose yards, he posted 25 career receptions and added 105 tackles and 10 interceptions on defense. Campbell’s teams went a combined 32-8 in his four seasons.

Rashad Isaiah Campbell is the son of Carole Campbell and Michael Jones and has 10 brothers and sisters. His brothers Aquil (Georgetown) and Malik (Bloomsburg) played collegiate football.
