Olivia Boyd Career Statistics

At Cornell 
Senior (2011): Boyd will serve as the team’s co-captain during the 2011 season.

Junior (2010): Boyd saw action in all 16 games, making seven starts, during her junior season. Her lone goal on the year proved to be the game-winner in a 4-3 overtime victory against Delaware.

Sophomore (2009): Boyd saw a significant increase in playing time during her sophomore year, playing in all but one game during the season. She had three goals on the season to finish with six points. Two of her goals came against Ivy League opponents, including the game-winner in double overtime against Columbia. Following the season, Boyd was named the team’s most improved player.

Freshman (2008): Boyd saw action in three games as a rookie, playing against Siena, Georgetown and Bryant.

At Needham HS
Boyd was a three-year letter winner at Needham HS, serving as team captain during her senior season. She helped lead her team to three straight Bay State League Championships in 2005, ’06 and ’07. Boyd was named a first-team Bay State All-Star as a senior after leading her team to its most successful season in school history, posting an 11-2-2 record. Boyd also lettered four times in track and twice in basketball, earning the school’s Booster’s Club Sportsmanship Award for basketball.

Olivia Ella Boyd is the daughter of Jim Boyd and Linda Polach and has two older sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
