Biography
At Cornell
A two-time USGA All-American on floor, Howse is one of the region’s top competitors in that event and is also a starter on vault and beam. As a junior, Howse posted career-high scores on vault, beam and floor and captured All-America status with a third-place finish and a career-best 9.850 on floor at the USAG Collegiate National Championships. After the season, she was selected by the coaching staff for the team’s Most Improved Gymnast Award. As a freshman, Howse competed in all four events. She was consistently one of the highest scoring vaulters, and capped off her season at the USAG nationals, taking All-America honors on floor. Look for Howse to compete in three events during her junior year. She is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences.
In Secondary School
A graduate of Deerfield HS, Howse was a Eastern Regional competitor. In 2004, she took first on floor and fourth all-around. She qualified in 2006 for the USAG Level 10 nationals. In high school, she was a member of the Spanish Honor Society and earned high honors each semester.
Personal
Brittany Noelle Howse is the daughter of Forrest and Janice Howse and has a younger sister.
