An NCAA Regional qualifier, USAG All-American (six times) and ESPN The Magazine Second-Team Academic America selection, Pearsall is the team's top scorer in the uneven bars and a three-year starter who has the school's third-highest all-around score in school history. Pearsall was a first-team academic all-district pick for the second straight year after earning USAG All-America honors on uneven bars in 2010. She helped to lead the Big Red to the USAG National Championship in 2009 after finishing in the top 10 in all five events, including a second-place finish on bars and in the all-around. Her 38.600 score in the all-around competition at the USAG meet was a career best and was the third-highest score in Cornell history. The 2008 ECAC Rookie of the Year, Pearsall added third-place finishes on bars and the all-around at the ECAC Championships earlier in 2009. She had one of the top freshman seasons in school history in 2008, earning a spot at NCAA Northeast Regionals in the all-around, finishing 12th with a 38.425, just off her career high. The ECAC Rookie of the Year won the Ivy Classic championship on floor and captured All-America status on the vault, floor and in the all-around at the 2008 USAG Collegiate National Championship. A member of the 400 club for student-athletes who achieve at least one semester with a 4.0 grade point average, Pearsall posted at least a 9.75 on all four events and a 38.525 in the all-around as a freshman. Pearsall was also named one of the top 10 outstanding freshman athletes by the Cornell Daily Sun and was selected to receive the team’s Karen Walsh Award for Physical and Mental Toughness. She is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Engineering.

In Secondary School
A graduate of Lyons Township HS, Pearsall was a multiple regional and two-time national qualifier.

Madison Clare Pearsall is the daughter of Penny Hutchinson and Morgan Pearsall and has a brother and two sisters.
