Biography
At Cornell: Chris LaBerge enters his senior senior primed for a big year. He will be one of the leaders out of the wide receiver position after breaking out toward the end of last year. In the finale against Mansfield, LaBerge spooked the Mountaineers on Halloween by dominating the opposing secondary. LaBerge caught three passes for 91 yards. Two of his three receptions were touchdowns and his third was a 61-yard catch that set up a score. The 61 yards was the longest play of scrimmage for the Big Red in 2008.
At Christian Brothers: A graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Chris LaBerge participated in football, basketball and lacrosse. In football, he saw time at both the wide receiver and defensive back positions, and his team was the 2004 state champion. In basketball, LaBerge captained his team and received All-League honors. And, in lacrosse his team won the state regional title in 2006.
Personal: Christopher R. LaBerge is the son of Robert and Ellen LaBerge, and he has one younger brother and one younger sister.
