Biography
At Cornell
Senior (2011): Lounsberry's career on East Hill came to a close as he started every game his senior year and led the Big Red with 45 tackles. He had a team-high 45 tackles for loss, led the group with four sacks and forced two fumbles as one of the best players on the Cornell defense.
Junior (2010): Lounsberry saw action in six games during his junior season. He finished the season ranked seventh on the team with 13 tackles, including three for a loss of nine yards. Lounsberry also blocked a kick and returned a punt for one-yard against Post.
Sophomore (2009): Lounsberry saw action in four games during his sophomore season. He tallied 10 tackles, one tackle for a loss and a half-sack. He also broke-up two passes and recovered one fumble.
Freshman (2008): As a rookie, Lounsberry saw action in two games. He finished the year with two tackles, including a half-sack for a loss of five yards.
At Owego
Seeing time at both the linebacker and running back positions in football at Owego Free Academy, Lounsberry was a Section IV Ernie Davis All Star, a Divisional All Star, and a Section IV Academic All Star twice. He also served as captain of the team his senior year.
Personal
Colin W. Lounsberry is the son of Stephen and Wendy Lounsberry, and he has one older brother and one older sister.
