At Cornell: Chris Stanton is arguably one of the best athletes on the Big Red sprint football team in 2009.  His tremendous athletic ability allows the coaches to be versatile in where he is placed in the lineup.  Last year, he saw playing time on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

At Honeoye Falls-Lima:  A three-sport standout at Honeoye Falls-Lima HS, Stanton received accolades in football, basketball and lacrosse.  He garnered All-Livingston Country honors in all three sports in his senior year.  In football, Stanton was a two-year captain and received an All-Greater Rochester honorable mention nod as a senior.  In basketball, he was a two-year honorable mention all-league pick.  A two-year captain for his football team, Stanton also served as captain for his basketball and lacrosse teams in his senior year.

Personal:  Christopher S. Stanton is the son of Scott and Susan Stanton, and he has two older brothers.
