At Cornell
Freshman: Crane batted .133 with five RBI in 15 contests, including six starts as the designated player. She went 2-for-5 with an RBI at Dartmouth and drove in two runs vs. Rider, while also driving in runs agains Central Connecticut State and Wagner. Crane saw action in seven contests as a pinch-hitter.

Prior to Cornell
In 2007, Crane was named team MVP in softball and to the all-Sentinel team for the second year in a row. At Trinity HS, Crane earned four letters in tennis playing both singles and doubles, and she was named team MVP her sophomore season. Crane also earned two letters in track and field, participating in shot put, discus and javelin. She was the district champion in shot put her senior year. A member of National Honor Society, she also served as her sophomore class and key club president.

Personal
Shannon Marie Crane is the daughter of Chris and Patricia Crane, and has an older brother and sister. Her brother, Chris, plays football at Boston College. Crane is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
