At Cornell
Carroll had a breakthrough sophomore year, contributing in the cross country team's top seven at the Heps and qualifying for the ECAC and NCAA Regional meets in outdoor track in the steeplechase. She set
personal bests in every distance in her sophomore season and now sits seventh in school history in her track specialty, the steeplechase.
Before Cornell
Carroll ran track and field for four seasons, earning three letters, and competed in cross country one season. She also played four years of soccer, earning four letters.
Personal
Maura Elizabeth Carroll is the daughter of Jim Carroll and Mimi McCormick and has an older brother and a younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
