At Cornell
An All-East performer in the indoor mile and outdoor 1500m, Lyons was also a past Heps scorer outdoors in the 1500m and has qualified for the NCAA Regionals. A concussion curtailed her junior year, but after a semester abroad in the fall of 2009, she is ready for a great final season with the Big Red. One of the best middle distance runners in the East, she was also an ECAC qualifier in the 1000m and indoor and outdoor 800m. A key part of the cross country team in her full first season as a sophomore, Lyons has great range across a number of middle distance and distance events. She is also a member of the school freshman-record setting 4x800m that placed sixth at the outdoor ECACs in 2007.
At Wilton HS
One of the top cross country runners in the Northeast while in high school, Lyons was the New England champion at 1000m as a senior.
Personal
Kerri Lyons is the daughter of Joe and Cindy Lyons and has a younger brother and a younger sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
