At Cornell
Roberts has proven to be among the best in the East in the steeplechase in her first three years at Cornell, qualifying for the NCAA Regional championships every season. A three-time Heps scorer in her outdoor specialty, she placed an outstanding third in 2008 and was fifth in 2009. She is also an All-East performer in outdoor track. Indoors in 2008, Erin improved
significantly in both the 3000m and 5000m and placed in the top 10 at the indoor Heps in the 5K. The school freshman record-holder in the steeplechase, she is fourth all-time in that event at Cornell and holds the Kane Complex record. In the fall of 2006, Roberts was the team’s most valuable freshman in cross country and was a consistent part of the team’s top seven in her rookie campaign.
At Parkland
Erin was the Pennsylvania state cross country runner-up as a junior and led Parkland to the state championship
Personal
Erin G. Roberts is the daughter of David and Anne Roberts, and she has two younger brothers. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
