At Cornell
The Big Red's top multi-event perfomer last year as just a freshman, Schillinger had an outstanding first season. She adjusted well to her new pentathlon event indoors and recorded a personal best of 3,342, the seventh-best effort all-time at Cornell. Schillinger was among the team's top high jump and hurdle talents as well and reached a personal best in the shot put indoors at 36'1". Outdoors, she competed in her specialty, the heptathlon, and finished fifth at the Outdoor Heptagonal Championships, recording a personal best 4,232 points, ninth-best all-time. She also helped the Big Red run the third-fastest time in school history in the shuttle hurdle relay at the Penn Relays.
Schillinger was Cornell's multi-event competitor for much of 2011-12, taking eighth place at the Indoor Heptagonal Championships pentathlon with a score of 3,279 points. She ran in Cornell's shuttle hurdle relay at Penn Relays, part of a team that set the third-best mark in school history with a 59.17-second run.
Before Cornell
One of Arizona's top prep athletes, Schillinger scored in both hurdle events at the state meet in her senior season. She holds the school records in both hurdle events.
