Biography
At Cornell
During his career at Cornell Kippins has been called on for many things. As a freshman, this senior co-captain set what was then a Cornell Freshman Record in the 500m with his second place finish at the Indoor HEPS as well as running a strong leg on the HEPS meet record 4x400 team that ran 3:12.14. The next week he blazed a 47.0 split at the indoor IC4A’s as part of the All-Time HEPS and Cornell school record 4x4 that ran 3:10.19. All this in addition to jumping 47’0”in the triple jump and 22’1 in the Long Jump.
Before Cornell
Kippins scored at the state meet in the triple jump and intermediate hurdles as well as leading his 4x800m team to All-American status indoors and outdoors.
Personal: Mike Kippins is the son of Marylin Kippins.
