At Cornell
After a freshman year which saw him post a respectable 14:56.83 for 5k, Taylor continued to work his way up through the college ranks as a sophomore, setting three indoor personal bests for the 3k distance while balancing a competitive disposition with good pace judgment. Outdoors, Taylor executed an evenly-paced 10k at Bucknell, moving up throughout the race, and was rewarded with an IC4A-qualifying performance of 30:51.13, an improvement of 51 seconds over his freshman time for the distance. A durable high-mileage runner, Taylor aims to parlay his success in the long track events to the cross-country scene in 2008.

Before Cornell
Taylor finished fourth in the New Jersey Meet of Champions with a 4:18.15 PR for 1,600m and posted a best time of 9:28.73 for 3,200m.

Personal
Dale Allen Taylor is son of Marguerite and Todd Taylor and has one older and one younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
