As a Senior (2012-13)
White had a personal best in the long jump during his last year at Cornell, leaping 23' 9" at the Big Red Invite in late April. He competed for Cornell at the Outdoor Heps, finishing ninth in the long jump. He finished his career by coming in 15th at the Outdoor IC4As in the event.
As a Junior (2011-12)
White qualified for the Outdoor IC4As in the long jump, where he reached a distance of 21' 6 1/4" for a 34th-place finish.
As a Sophomore (2010-11)
White’s sophomore year showed promise as he scored at the Indoor HEPS in the high jump and made his way into the long jump finals at Penn Relays. He finished the year qualifying for both the Indoor and Outdoor HEPS team. He jumped a best of 23’5” in the long jump qualifying for the IC4A Championship meet.
As a Freshman (2009-10)
White entered Cornell looking to contribute to the jumps as a high jumper and potential long jumper. He put together a solid freshman season qualifying for the Indoor HEPS team, but nagging injuries throughout the year hampered his performance.
Before Cornell
White was a five-time city and sectional champion and state qualifier while also earning all-city and all-state honors three times. He helped his team to the indoor and outdoor sectional titles as a senior, while repeating that double as city champions as a junior.
Personal
Jourdan E. White is the son of John Thomas and Shawn White and has two sisters. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
