Biography
At Cornell
Miner earned his first varsity letter following the 2009 season. He is one of the strongest athletes on the team and he continues to develop technically each and every training cycle.
At Gonzaga College HS
Miner rowed for four years at Gonzaga College high school, lettering once, under head coach Tom Spooner ’94, a former member of the Big Red lightweight rowing team. He helped his team to a NE Regional championship in 2006 after serving as coxswain of the DC city champions in 2003. Miner earned his team’s Kevin Harris Award as a senior.
Personal
William George Miner is the son of Bill and Allison Miner and he has one younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
