2012-13 Men's Rowing - Lightweight Roster
Biography
At Cornell
Gould rowed as a member of the second varsity eight during his junior season, helping the crew to win a silver medal at the 2012 EARC Sprints. During the regular season, the second varsity eight earned victories over Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Columbia and Dartmouth. Over the summer, Gould represented the United States at the U23 World Championships as a member of the lightweight quadruple scull. As a sophomore, Gould rowed in the second varsity eight boat that took third place at the 2011 Eastern Sprints. He also rowed in the lightweight four boat that took third place at the 2011 IRAs. That summer, Gould represented the United State in the lightweight pair at the 2011 World Rowing Under 23 Championships, where he and teammate Ed O'Neill placed 21st overall. Gould rowed in the varsity eight during the 2010 season.
At Riverhead High School
Gould rowed for four years with East End Rowing Club. In 2009, he rowed to a New York State Championship, as well as a Stotesbury Cup Championship in the men’s varsity double. He also took second place at the 2009 SRAA National Regatta and was chosen to participate in the USRowing Junior Sculling Selection Camp.
Personal
Dylan Scott Gould is the son of Steven and Erin Gould and he has one older sister. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
