Biography

Junior Season - 2010
Chang played in 14 of the team's games on the season, starting 12 times at forward. She finished the season with four goals and an assist for nine points, ranking second on the team in both goals and points. She potted a pair of goals in the Big Red's 2-0 win at Manhattan on Sept. 26, and added a single tally in the loss to St. Bonaventure on Sept. 10 and again in the 2-0 win against Colgate on Oct. 3. Chang also added an assist in the win against Delaware State on Sept. 5. For the season, she scored a pair of game-winning goals, one coming against Manhattan and the other against Colgate.

Sophomore Season - 2009
Chang appeared in 14 of the Big Red's 15 matches during her second season, starting seven times at forward. She picked up an assist in the Big Red's 2-0 victory against Colgate on Sept. 16 for her only point of the season.

Freshman Season - 2008
Chang appeared in 13 of the Big Red's 15 games, earning the starting nod in each. She led the team with four goals scored on the year, while her eight points ranked second in total scoring. Chang opened her career with a goal in her collegiate debut, scoring the game-winning goal against Oakland on Sept. 5, and added another tally in her Ivy League opener against Columbia on Sept. 26. Chang added two more goals in Ivy League play, scoring against Yale on Oct. 18 and again at Berman Field against Dartmouth on Nov. 8.

Before Cornell
Chang was a highly decorated player at Bishop O'Connell HS, earning Washington Post All-MET First-Team and All-Examiner honors in 2007 in addition to being named the Post's All-EXTRA Player of the Year. She was a four-time all-conference selection, earning first-team honors twice, and was a member of the NSCAA/Adidas High School National Champion team in 2004. Chang was a two-time team MVP and team captain for Bishop O'Connell. A multi-sport athlete, Chang also played lacrosse and basketball in high school. She played her club soccer for Reston FC, joining fellow incoming players Kelsey MacDonald and Abigail Apistolas on that club. She helped RFC to the Virginia State Cup title in 2006 and the semifinals in 2005, 2007 and 2008. A proven goal-scorer, she earned the TCIFA Women's Festival of Football Golden Boot and Top Scorer Awards. Chang also participated in the USYS Region I camp five times and was a five-time member of the Virginia State Olympic Development Program team, being named team captain in 2007. She was also a six-time member of the Virginia North District ODP team.

Personal
Brook J. Chang is the daughter of James and Karen Chang, and she has a younger sister. She will study in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell.
