Junior Season - 2011
An early-season injury limited Gabrio's action as a junior to just four appearances, including two September starts. Her only game action after that came in the final two games of the season at Princeton and Dartmouth.

Sophomore Season - 2010
Gabrio was a mainstay in the Big Red lineup as a sophomore, starting all 15 games in central defense for a team that allowed just 17 goals in 15 games on the season. Her continued development as a top-notch defender was a key factor in the Big Red allowing nine fewer goals than in her freshman season.

Freshman Season - 2009
Gabrio was a solid presence in the middle of the defense for the Big Red as a freshman, making 15 appearances and starting 14 of those. She was a key cog in the back line when the Big Red posted a shutout tie against Binghamton in the season opener and again when Cornell got a 2-0 victory against NCAA tournament team Colgate on Sept. 16 at Berman Field.

Before Cornell
Gabrio, the Gatorade Hawaii State Player of the Year in 2009, was a three-time all-state selection as a senior and was named to the all-tournament team for the 2009 state championships. She scored the game-winning goal in the state championship game as her team wrapped up her senior season with a 13-0-3 mark. She was the conference defensive player of the year and was named team captain as a senior. For her club side, Leahi Soccer Club, she helped claim the Surf Cup championship and seven consecutive Hawai'i state championships.

Personal
Jayann Hahina Yuk Sim Gabrio is the daughter of Gino and Christina Gabrio and has an older brother and sister. She is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
