Junior Season - 2010
Vonderweidt made the transition to the outside back spot on a full-time basis and helped the Big Red defense allow nine fewer goals in 2010 than in 2009. She started all 15 games at right back and recorded a pair of shots on the season.

Sophomore Season - 2009
Vonderweidt proved her versatility during the season, splitting time at the midfield and in the back. She missed two games due to injury, but started in nine of the 13 contests that she appeared in during the season, including each of the final five at right back.

Freshman Season - 2008
Vonderweidt appeared in all 15 games on the season, making the start in all but one. She scored her first career goal on Oct. 26 at Brown in the Big Red's 2-0 victory over the Bears.

Before Cornell
Vonderweidt was a two-time CIF Southern Section honoree, earning second-team accolades in 2006-07 and being named to the third team in 2007-08. She helped her high school team, Notre Dame Academy, to the CIF championship in 2005-06 and was named team captain during her senior season. In addition, she was named to the all-tournament team at the 2007 South High School Holiday Girls Soccer Tournament. Vonderweidt, who played her club soccer with the Irvine Soccer Club Strikers, is one of 13 players on her club team who will continue playing at the Division I level in college.

Personal
Abageal Busch Vonderweidt is the daughter of Laurent and Laura Vonderweidt, and she has a younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
