Biography
Senior Season — 2012-13
Karson competed in three doubles matches at the Cornell Fall Invitational in October at Reis Tennis Center. Teamed with Brett Cromwell, the pair defeated a team from Colgate in the 'A' doubles bracket.
Junior Season — 2011-12
Karson did not make any appearances in tournament or dual-match play.
Sophomore Season — 2010-11
Karson saw an increase in playing time during his sophomore season, finishing the year with a 4-5 record overall and a mark of 3-0 in the spring. He also saw action in six doubles matches, going 2-4 overall, with both victories coming during the spring season (2-0).
Freshman Season — 2009-10
Karson competed in just two singles matches and one doubles match during his rookie season with the Big Red.
At Ransom Everglades School
A two-year captain, Karson lettered four times and led his team to a Florida State Championship in 2008. He was named all-county all four years of his career.
Personal
Jared Daniel Karson is the son of Jack and Arden Karson and he has a younger brother and sister. Karson is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
