Stern played for two seasons as a starter on the soccer team at Pioneer Valley Regional School and also competed in horseback riding for 11 years.

Amanda Keri Stern is the daughter of Scott and Mary Stern and has two sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
