Sophomore (2008): Schovee used her athleticism and work ethic to see a significant increase in playing time during the 2008 season. The defender played in 12 games and made four starts as part of a defensive unit that ranked among the best in the Ivy League, allowing less than 10 shots per game and just 5.4 penalty corners per game. Following the season, she was one of three players that earned the team’s Most Improved Player award.

Freshman (2007): Schovee saw action in just one game during her rookie campaign.

At Kent Denver School
Schovee was a four-year letter winner at Kent Denver School, serving as co-captain her senior season. A defender, Schovee led the Sun Devils to the 5A state championships for three consecutive years. She was named to the Colorado all-state team in 2005 and 2006 and was a regional All-America selection in 2007. Schovee was a four-time selection to the Region 10 National Futures Tournament team from 2003 to 2007 and served as an alternate for the U16 Junior Olympic Team in 2003. She lettered three times in lacrosse, where she helped her team to a state championship in 2005.

Personal
Elizabeth Kathryn Schovee is the daughter of Stephen and Allison Schovee and she has a younger brother. Her aunt and uncle, Judy and Jim Snow, received their master’s degrees from Cornell in 1976. Schovee is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
