Junior (2009)
Baranek saw action in five games during his first season with the Big Red. He finished the year with four tackles, including one sack for a loss of six yards.

At West Babylon
An Academic All-Division honoree in football at West Babylon HS, Eric Baranek was also named to the Long Island Golden 11.  He was also on the school's lacrosse team for four years.

Eric S. Baranek is the son of Stephen and Donna Baranek, and he has one younger brother and one younger sister.
