Biography
As a Senior (2011)
Smith concluded her cross country career by running 30th at the Binghamton-Army tri-meet and finishing 29th at the Colgate Invitational. Her final race of the year with a 17th-place showing at the Yellowjacket Invitational.
At Cornell
Christine has been a steady and reliable runner for the Big Red throughout her career and returns for her senior year ready for a great final year of cross country and track.
Before Cornell
Smith was a two-time state medalist in cross country and twice more in the 4x800m relay while also earning Nike Indoor National All-American honors in the freshman mile in 2005. She was a part of a state championship team in cross country in 2004 and earned all-area honors in cross country as well.
Personal
Christine Anne Smith is the daughter of Robert and Margaret Smtih and has an older brother. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
