Yu did not appear in any games for the Big Red on the season.

Before Cornell
Yu was a member of the St. Joseph's College soccer team, helping that team win the Hong Kong Schools 1st Division championship. He was also selected to play for Hong Kong in the 34th Asian School Soccer Championships in Vietnam.

Martin Long Cheung Yu is the son of Paul Ka Hong Yu and Sarah Lai Wan Suen and has an older brotehr and a younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
