As a Junior (2011)
Onambele did not play in any games for the Big Red in 2011.

As a Sophomore (2010)
Onambele proved to be a dangerous threat offensively for the Big Red, finishing his first season at Cornell with three goals and six points. He appeared in 15 games, starting 10 of those, and collected the game-winning goal in the Big Red's 2-0 win against Colgate on Oct. 12. He scored his first career goal in his first career start against Hartwick on Sept. 6, then tallied the lone Cornell goal in a 2-1 loss to Vermont on Sept. 12.

Before Cornell
Onambele played two seasons at York University in Canada, helping the team win the Canadian University championship in 2008. His team also finished second among the Ontario West Universities.

Personal
Martin Franck Onambele is the son of Tobo Omer Patrick and Onambele Marie Collette. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
