Biography
At Cornell
Crump was named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team selection following her junior and senior seasons. A walk-on with no prior rowing experience, she made a significant impact on the Big Red varsity over her final two seasons. Sitting in the No. 2 seat as a senior, Crump helped Cornell to earn its first national ranking since the 2004 season. The team placed sixth at the Eastern Sprints, the group's top finish at the regatta since 1996. Crump is also a member of Cornell’s 400 Club, which honors student-athletes that achieve a perfect 4.0, which she has done in both Spring 2008 and Fall 2008. She was a CRCA National Scholar-Athlete selection, as well as an ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District I At-Large First Team honoree.
At Liberty High School
Crump played volleyball for four years at Liberty high school.
Personal
Erica Katherine Crump is the daughter of Dave ’82 and Lisa Crump ’82 and she has one older sister, Lindsey ’10, and one younger sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.Â
