Biography

At Cornell
As a junior, Imsdahl rowed in the second varsity eight, helping that crew to victories over Syracuse, Boston University, Rutgers and Dartmouth. The crew also finished sixth overall at the Ivy League championship and placed second in the Third Level Finals at the 2012 NCAA championship, good for 14th in the nation. Imsdahl rowed in the varsity four during her freshman and sophomore seasons. Following the 2011 season, she was named a CRCA National Scholar-Athlete. During the summer of 2011 Imsdahl competed at the U23 World Championships and helped the United States to a sixth place finish in the women’s lightweight four.
Personal
Solveig Schwerin Imsdahl is the daughter of Peter and Ingrid Imsdahl and she has three brothers and a twin sister, Marit, who also rows for the Big Red. Imsdahl is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
