Biography

At Ithaca HS
Jirka earned two varsity letters in rowing at Ithaca high school. She earned a third place finish at the 2007 NY State Championships in the women’s club-8, after taking third at the 2005 NY State Championships in the women’s club-4 with coxswain. Jirka also lettered four times in swimming and once in basketball.

Caroline Deborah Jirka is the daughter of Kurt Jirka and Barbara Knuth and she has one younger sister. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
