Biography
At Cornell
Madden stroked the second varsity eight for some of the spring before rowing in the six seat at the 2012 NCAA Championship. During the season, she helped the Big Red to victories over Syracuse, Boston University, Rutgers and Dartmouth. The second varsity eight also finished sixth overall at the Ivy League championship and placed second in the Third Level Finals at the 2012 NCAA championship, good for 14th in the nation. Madden also rowed in the second varsity eight during her freshman and sophomore seasons.
At Buckingham Browne and Nichols School
Madden rowed for four years at Buckingham Browne and Nichols School, serving as team captain as a senior. She also rowed with Community Rowing, Inc., helping the varsity eight to a first place finish at the Head of the Charles and a second place finish at the New Hampshire Championship. Madden was also a three-year member of the varsity ski team, serving as team captain as a junior.
Personal
Paige M. Madden is the daughter of Stephen and Annette Madden. Her grandfather Frank Madden graduated from Cornell. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
