Biography

At Cornell
Anthony was the coxswain of the varsity eight during his junior season, helping the crew to a third place finish in the Petite Finals at the 2012 IRA Championship and a fourth place finish in the Petite Finals of the 2012 EARC Sprints. During the regular season, the varsity eight earned victories over Georgetown, UCSD, Syracuse, Princeton, Yale and Penn. Anthony also served as coxswain of the varsity eight during his sophomore season after serving in the same capacity for the freshmen eight crew that won the bronze medal at the 2010 Eastern Sprints. He also helped the freshmen eight to a  fourth place at the IRAs.

At Saint Augustine Preparatory School
Anthony lettered three times at Saint Augustine Preparatory School, serving as the coxswain of the varsity heavyweight eight. He helped his team to two New Jersey State Championships, as well as a Philadelphia City Championship. Anthony also won a bronze medal at the Stotesbury Cup, the world's oldest and largest high school rowing competition. He also lettered once in soccer.

Personal
Ryan David Anthony is the son of Michael and Karen Anthony and he has two younger brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
