Biography
At Cornell
Mercho rowed in the second varsity eight during his junior season, helping the crew to a fourth place finish at the 2012 EARC Sprints and a second place finish in the Petite Finals at the 2012 IRA Championship. During the regular season, he helped the second varsity eight to victories over Georgetown, UCSD, Syracuse, Navy, Princeton, Yale and Penn.
At International School of Indiana
Mercho earned five varsity letters at the International School of Indiana, serving as team captain for his final three seasons.
Personal
Alexander Hanna Mercho is the son of Tamer and Maureen Mercho and he has one older brother and one younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
