Biography
At Cornell
Opet served as the coxswain of the third varsity-8 that won a gold medal at the 2010 Eastern Sprints and he should push for a spot on the varsity-8 during his senior season.
At Oswego HS
Opet was a two-sport athlete at Oswego high school, lettering three times in ice hockey and twice in soccer. He served as captain of the soccer team and helped his hockey team to the 2005 Section III Championship.
Personal
Nathan J. Opet is the son of Thomas and Denise Opet and he has an older brother and sister and a younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
