As a Senior (2013-14)The senior sprinter wrapped up his Big Red career with another fine season. He took home 2
nd place in the 60 with a time of 6.83 at the Greg Page Cornell Relays. His best showing came at the Cornell Upstate Challenge. Bain placed 2
nd in both the 60 and the 200, with times of 6.86 and 22.26 respectively.
As a Junior (2012-13)Bain contined to run the short sprints for the Big Red in his third year with the team. He claimed third place at the Indoor Heps in the 60, scoring six points for Cornell. He then took eighth in the 100 at Outdoor Heps after qualifying in a 10.66 time. Bain lowered his personal best in the 300 by .68 seconds at the Cornell Relays in December.
As a Sophomore (2011-12)Bain had a great indoor season, taking third place at the Indoor Heps in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.83 seconds. He followed that with a 10th-place finish in the 60 at Indoor IC4As before the outdoor season began. At the Penn relays, Bain was part of the 4x100 relay team that took 50th place. He ran the 100 in 10.60w seconds earlier in the year, which is the 12th-fastest time ever at Cornell.
As a Freshman (2010-11)As the only Texas sprinter on the team, there was plenty of pressure to perform as an incoming freshman. However, Bain handled the pressure well as he broke the freshman record at Cornell in the 60m dash with a time of 6.79. Bain was consistently under 6.90 in the 60m indoors, and at the Indoor HEPS he finished second with a 6.80 and hopes to do even better next season. Bain was plagued with injuries during his freshman outdoor season but showed significant promise as he opened the season on a still day in California with a 10.72 in the 100m but was unable to compete at the Outdoor HEPS.
Before CornellBain was a talented sprinter in high school with personal bests of 10.52 in the 100m and a 21.55 in the 200m. He was also a receiver and cornerback in football, earning letters all four years of his high school career.
