As a Senior (2013-14)
Ojukwu continued to be an integral part of the Big Red’s 4x1 and 4x4 relay teams, while also participating in the individual sprints. He kicked off his senior season with a season best mark of 6.92 in the 60 to finish 4th at the Greg Page Relays. Later in the indoor season he took home 1st place in the 400 at the Deneault Memorial. His best showing of the indoor season came at the IC4A’s. Individually, he placed 2nd with a career best 21.37 in the 200. He also helped the 4x4 team to a 3rd place finish at the event. Outdoors, he helped the Big Red to 3rd places finishes in the 4x4 at both the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and the Penn Relays. He also ran a leg of the 4x1 which placed 3rd at the Stanford Invitational. Ojukwu wrapped up his Big Red career at the NCAA East Prelims helping the 4x1 and 4x4 teams to 17th and 20th place respectively.

As a Junior (2012-13)
Ojukwu continued to be a key contributor to the Big Red's sprints during his junior season, advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the 4x100 relay after going sub-40 at the NCAA East Regional in Greensboro, N.C. Earlier in the season, Ojukwu was on the Big Red's second-place 4x440-yard relay team at the Indoor Heps while also placing sixth as an individual in the 400. At the Indoor IC4As, Ojukwu was on the Big Red's eighth-place 4x400 relay team and also placed 17th in the 200. Outdoors at the Penn Relays, Ojukwu was part of the Big Red's winning 4x100 relay in the IC4A section. He ran three events at the Outdoor Heps, taking first as part of the 4x100 team, second as a part of the 4x400 team and placing seventh in the 100 as an individual.

As a Sophomore (2011-12)
Ojukwu was the first leg of Cornell's second-place 4x400 relay at the Indoor Heps, and he just missed scoring in the 60-meter dash and the triple jump at that meet as well, taking seventh and ninth in those events, respectively. At the Outdoor Heps, Ojukwu was eighth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.33 seconds, and he again just missed scoring in the 200 with a seventh-place showing. Ojukwu was a winner in the 4x100, though, helping Cornell take first place with a great anchor leg. He ran the 100 in 10.54w seconds earlier in the year, which is the seventh-fastest time ever at Cornell.

As a Freshman (2010-11)
Ojukwu had a good freshman year, placing fifth at the 60m dash and seventh in the triple jump at the Indoor Heptagonal Championships. As a freshman, Ojukwu set the freshman record in the 200-meter dash, and also ran one of the top 60m dash times in the history of Cornell. Spurred by his successes in the indoor season, Ojukwu set his sights on scoring in the outdoor Heptagonal Championships. The appearance of a hamstring injury midway through the season hampered this goal, but Ojukwu sprung back to eventually run a personal record of 10.57 in the 100. He went on to win fourth place in the 100m, and sixth place in the 200m dash at the Outdoor Championships.

Before Cornell
Ojukwu first rose to fame as a freshman, placing taking second at the Washington State Championships in the 100-meter dash. This set the tone for the rest of his high school career. Over the next three years, Ojukwu won multiple state titles in the 100m, 200m, and triple jump.

Personal
Kinsley Echezona Ojukwu is the son of Edwin and Paulina Ojukwu. Ojukwu has a twin brother who also attends Cornell, and two sisters. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
