A three-year starter on bars, Schupp won an Ivy Classic title on the event as a junior in 2013 and finished second at the ECAC meet. She led the team with her regional qualifying score on the apparatus for the second straight year with a 9.780, among the top scores in the region. She posted nine meets with a 9.8 or better, including a career-high 9.825 in winning the Ivy Classic title. That score is good for eighth-best all-time at Cornell. Her 9.735 regional qualifying average was the highest of any Big Red competitor on bars in 2012. She was in the vault and beam lineups as a sophomore. Schupp placed fifth on bars with a 9.725 at the Ivy League Classic and notched a career-high 9.8 on at the season-opening George Washington Invitational. Schupp was a starter on bars as a freshman in 2011, posting eight scores of 9.6 or better in her 12 competitions. She scored a 9.700 at the ECAC meet to take first and went 9.750 against Brown for a career high. Her 9.685 season average was the highest on the team.

Prior to Cornell
Schupp was a three-time Level 10 state and regional qualifier while competing for the New England Sports Academy. She also qualified for nationals in 2009. Schupp was a state champion at Level 9, a regional team title at Level 8, and finished third at the state meet at Level 10. She attended Duxbury HS.

Alexis Renee Schupp is the daughter of Greg and Patty Schupp and has two younger sisters.
