Biography

As a Senior (2013-14)
Bosse ranked third on the team in scoring average for a third consecutive season. All five of his fall rounds were in the 70s, then he finished the Princeton Invitational with a 2-under-par 69 in the final round on April 13. It was one of the Big Red's three under-par rounds for the year. Bosse then carried the momentum into the following week, when he was the team's top finisher in the Navy Spring Invitational. Bosse's two-day total of 4-over-par 146 was good for eighth place in the individual portion of the competition, and it helped the team to a fourth-place finish in the 18-team event. Bosse then finished tied for 30th in the season-ending Ivy League Championships, carding three birdies in final collegiate round.

As a Junior (2012-13)
Bosse once again ranked third on the team in scoring average, getting his season off to a hot start at the Cornell Invitational. He led the field after shooting an opening-round 70, then finished second in the individual part of the competition to Binghamton's Josh Holling with a final-round 73. Bosse then became the only member of the Big Red to win two of his three matches at the Ivy League Match Play event Oct. 20-21 — including a marathon 24-hole match against Harvard's Rohan Ramnath. Bosse secured Cornell's lone point the next day against Penn, defeating Colin St. Maxens, 3&2. ... In the spring, Bosse carded his second round of 2-under when he opened with a 69 at Springdale Golf Club in the Princeton Invitational on April 13. He then led the Big Red at the Ivy League Championships with a score of 75-75-77—227, which was good for a tie for 18th in the individual part of the competition.

As a Sophomore (2011-12)
Bosse was a large part of the men's golf team as a sophomore, competing in all but one tournament for the Big Red in 2011-12. After missing the season-opening St. Bonaventure Invitational, Bosse took part in the last seven tournaments. Averaging a 78.67 in his 18 rounds, Bosse had the third-lowest average on the team. His individual highlight came on Sept. 25 when he shot a one-under-par 71 at the Big Red Invitational.

As a Freshman (2010-11)
Bosse competed in four tournaments over a total of 10 rounds as a freshman in 2010-11. He posted a low round of 74 in the first round of Princeton's Invitational.

At Loudon Valley HS
A three-time state qualifier, Bosse was a two-time district medalist at Loudon Valley HS. Bosse was the individual runner-up at the Virginia AAA Northwest Region. A two-time Washington Post All-Met team selection, Bosse was the 2008-09 and 2009-10 county Player of the Year. He was a member of the 2009 Virginia AAA state championship and was a three-time qualifier on the Mid-Atlantic Professional Golf Association junior tour, finishing seventh out of 250 junior golfers from five states.
