Biography

As a junior (2012)
Belles hit .205 with four home runs and 12 RBI in 33 contests, including 18 starts. She had three multi-hit games, including 2-for-3 efforts against both George Mason and Brown on the road. She hit home runs against GMU and Bucknell and blasted shots in both ends of the doubleheader against Albany. Belles was hit by a pitch a team-best five times.

As a sophomore (2011)
Belles emerged as one of the team's top offensive threats as the season progressed and finished the year second on the team in batting (.318) and slugging percentage (.565) and tied for the team lead in home runs (six). She played in 37 contests with 30 starts and came on over her last 21 games, hitting .373 with six home runs and 17 RBI before suffering a season-ending injury. She had seven multi-hit games during that span, including a 3-for-3 day with a walk and three RBI against Bucknell and a 2-for-2 afternoon with a home run and three RBI in a win over Ivy champion Harvard. Her six home runs tied her for seventh among Ivy League players.

As a freshman (2010)
Belles played in 13 games with three starts as a rookie, batting .235 with a double and two RBI. She had an RBI in her first collegiate game against Marist as a pinch-hitter, then singled and drove in another run against Bucknell the following day. She had a double and a walk in two plate appearances against Binghamton.

At Dallas HS
Belles was a first-team all-state selection as a senior at Dallas HS. The three-time league all-star, Belles was a three-time all-star pick by the Times Leader and the Citizens Voice. She helped her team to district championships as a junior and senior. Belles played for the Lackawanna Lightning Summer Team and was named the tournament MVP at the 2007 Nanticoke Newport Summer Slam. The four-year letter winner was the Citizens Voice MVP in 2009. A two-sport athlete, Belles was a two-year letter winner in volleyball.

Erin Elizabeth Belles is the daughter of Robert Belles and Mary Ann Maxfield and has an older brother and a younger brother and sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
