At Cornell
Sophomore (2010): Laventure saw a significant increase in playing time during her sophomore season, playing in 14 games overall and making 12 starts. She was a key member of a defensive unit that allowed the second fewest goals in conference play (11) and held its opponents to just 6.06 penalty corners per game and just 10.2 shots per game. Following the season, she was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

Freshman (2009): As a freshman, Laventure saw action in five games, making a start in the shutout victory at Dartmouth.

At Little Flower Academy
Laventure lettered four times at Little Flower Academy playing both back and midfield. She led her team to the AA Provincial Championships in 2007 after a runner-up finish in 2006 and third place finishes in 2004 and 2005. She served as team captain as a senior and was named team MVP that same season. Laventure was also the winner of her team’s Best Defensive Player award in both 2004 and 2005. She is a three-year member of the B.C. provincial team and has finished as the runner-up at the U19 Canadian National Outdoor Championship in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Laventure also played for the second place team at the U19 Canadian National Indoor Championship in 2008.

Kathryn Elizabeth Laventure is the daughter of Leslie and Maureen Laventure and she has two younger brothers. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
