As a Senior (2011)
During her final year running with the Big Red, Brown, the team's captain, placed 18th to start the season at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet. Brown placed 30th at the Colgate Invitational, took 22nd at the Paul Short Invitational's open race, placed eighth at the Yellowjacket Invitational and finished in 56th at the Heptagonal Championships to conclude her cross country career.
At Cornell
The 2011 women’s cross country captain, Brown has made a significant impact at Cornell in her first three years for the Big Red in both cross and track. The cross country team’s most valuable freshman, Brown has been a regular part of Cornell’s top five in her career as a Big Red harrier. An indoors Heps scorer in the mile as a sophomore and an outdoor Heps finalist in the 1500 as a freshman, Meghan has continued to improve on the track and is an individual ECAC qualifier. Brown is also a member of Cornell’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC).
At Ursuline Academy
Brown was a high school All-American on the 4x800m was among New York’s best in the 1000m.
Personal
Meghan Cummings Brown is the daughter of William and Maureen Brown and has a twin sister.
