At Cornell
Ramsey rowed in the second varsity eight during his sophomore season, helping the crew to a fourth place finish at the 2012 EARC Sprints and a second place finish in the Petite Finals at the 2012 IRA Championship. During the regular season, he helped the second varsity eight to victories over Georgetown, UCSD, Syracuse, Navy, Princeton, Yale and Penn. During the summer, he raced in the men’s pair trials for the U23 World Championship. 

At The Shipley School
Ramsey was a four-time letter winner at the Shipley School, serving as captain in 2010. He was awarded his team’s MVP award both in 2009 and 2010. As a senior, Ramsey helped his boat to finish second at the City Championships, win the Stotesbury Cup regatta, and earn a bronze medal at SRA nationals. Ramsey’s boat placed second at the Head of the Schuylkill in 2009.

Personal
Andrew Archer Ramsey is the son of Tom Ramsey and Cynthia Archer and he has one younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
