Biography
At Cornell
Zadeh has been selected to serve as Commodore for the 2012-13 season. He is a two-time member of the varsity eight and during his junior campaign, he helped the crew to a third place finish in the Petite Finals at the 2012 IRA Championship and a fourth place finish in the Petite Finals of the 2012 EARC Sprints. During the regular season, the varsity eight earned victories over Georgetown, UCSD, Syracuse, Princeton, Yale and Penn. Zadeh rowed in the varsity eight during his sophomore season as well. He was a member of the freshmen eight crew that won the bronze medal at the 2010 Eastern Sprints before finishing in fourth place at the IRAs.
At Weston HS
Zadeh lettered five times at Weston high school. He earned a silver medal at the 2009 USRowing Youth Nationals, after earning a bronze medal in 2007.
Personal
Kevan Zadeh is the son of Sam and Frieda Zadeh and he has one younger brother. Both his aunt Rashna Kahriwalla and his uncle Paul Staid graduated from Cornell. Zadeh is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
